Jerry is Of Counsel with the Goza & Honnold law firm. His experiences as a clinician, a medical officer in the Food and Drug Administration, and in the pharmaceutical industry complement the firm's strengths in litigating complex drug, medical device, and medical malpractice cases.
Jerry is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. After completing his neurology fellowship, he practiced child neurology at one of the Midwest's leading academic children's hospitals. In 1994 he graduated from law school and joined premier Kansas City medical malpractice defense firm as an associate. Jerry is a member of the Kansas and Missouri Bars and is a registered patent attorney.
For the past decade Jerry has worked in the pharmaceutical development, initially as a reviewer at the FDA and later in Clinical Research and Development at major pharmaceutical companies. As clinical representative on global, multidisciplinary drug development teams, he has participated in the development of drugs for treating pain, thrombosis, addiction, epilepsy, neuropathy, depression, and a variety of other conditions.
